Distributions are paid quarterly 2/1, 5/1, 8/1 & 11/1. Dividends paid by this preferred security are eligible for the preferential income tax rate of 15% to a maximum of 20% depending on the holder's tax bracket (and under IRS specified holding restrictions) and are also eligible for the dividends received deduction for corporate holders. NSTAR Electric Co is now a subsidiary of Eversource Energy (NYSE: ES).

Notes: Apr 10, 2012 -- Northeast Utilities (NYSE: NU and NSTAR (NYSE: NST) announced today that their merger is complete, creating one of the nation’s largest utilities with six regulated electric and natural gas utilities serving 3.5 million customers in three states. The newly merged company will continue to be called Northeast Utilities and NSTAR will become an NU subsidiary in Massachusetts. NU will be more diverse and better positioned to support economic growth and renewable energy opportunities in New England.
