This page lists income securities that have been called for redemption by their issuer, most recently called first. A call means the issuer is exercising its right to buy the security back, normally at the $25 liquidation preference, and retire it.
If you hold a security that appears here, the position is ending. Confirm the redemption date and terms with your broker, because what happens in the interval matters.

The remaining 2,816 securities — plus sorting, filtering and Excel, PDF and CSV export — are available to registered users. Registration is free.
The issuer gives notice — typically 30 to 60 days — and on the redemption date pays holders the call price plus any accrued distribution. The security stops trading and is removed from your account. There is nothing to decide and no way to opt out.
The practical risk is price. Once a call is announced the security trades toward the call price almost immediately. Anyone holding it above $25 takes that loss, which is why paying a large premium for an already-callable preferred is dangerous no matter how attractive the current yield looks.
Almost always to refinance more cheaply. When rates fall, an issuer with an 8% preferred outstanding can redeem it at $25 and issue a new one at 6%. This is the asymmetry at the heart of preferred investing: your upside is capped at the call price while your downside if rates rise is not.
Regulatory change is the other common driver, particularly for bank trust preferreds whose treatment as regulatory capital has been phased out.
Not every call covers the whole issue. In a partial call only a portion is redeemed and holders are selected by lottery or pro rata, so part of your position may be retired while you keep the rest. A tender offer is different again — the issuer offers to buy back at a stated price and you choose whether to accept.
Each security's detail page shows which of these applies, along with the relevant dates.
QuantumOnline has tracked exchange-traded income securities since 1997. Every security in this list is researched and maintained by hand from the issuer's prospectus and SEC filings, not scraped from a vendor feed. Where a figure is unavailable we show "n.a." rather than guessing.
Information is believed to be accurate but is not guaranteed, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell. Always confirm terms against the issuer's prospectus before investing.
