Fund Description: XAI Octagon Floating Rate & Alternative Income Term Trust is an exchange-traded closed-end fund (CEF) or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. <p> INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The XAI Octagon Floating Rate & Alternative Income Term Trust seeks attractive total return with an emphasis on income generation across multiple stages of the credit cycle. <p> FUND STRATEGY: The Trust seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in a dynamically managed portfolio of opportunities primarily within the private credit markets. Under normal market conditions, the Trust will invest at least 80% of its Managed Assets in floating rate credit instruments and other structured credit investments. The Trust will terminate on or before 12/31/2029. <p> FUND MANAGEMENT: XA Investments LLC serves as the investment adviser to the Trust.
