Business: Warren Resources, Inc. is a independent energy company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of domestic onshore crude oil and gas reserves. They focus their efforts primarily on the exploration and development of their waterflood oil recovery properties in the Wilmington Field within the Los Angeles Basin of California, consisting of the Wilmington Townlot Unit (WTU) and the North Wilmington Unit (NWU). They are also one of the leading developers of coalbed methane natural gas, or CBM, in the Rocky Mountain region. Their CBM operations are focused in the Washakie Basin, which comprises approximately the southeast one-third of the Greater Green River Basin in southwestern Wyoming.
