Fund Description: Invesco Trust For Investment Grade New York Municipals, formerly the Invesco Van Kampen Trust for Investment Grade New York Municipals, formerly the Van Kampen Trust for Investment Grade New York Municipals, is an exchange-traded closed-end fund or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Invesco Trust for Investment Grade New York Municipals seeks to provide a high level of current income exempt from federal as well as New York state and New York City income taxes, consistent with preservation of capital. TRUST STRATEGY: The Trust will invest its assets in New York municipal securities rated investment grade at the time of investment but may invest up to 20% of its assets in unrated securities. The Trust’s portfolio includes revenue bonds, general obligation bonds and pre-refunded bonds. TRUST MANAGEMENT: Invesco Advisers, Inc. serves as the investment advisor to the Trust.
