Fund Description: THL Credit Senior Loan Fund is an exchange-traded closed-end fund (CEF) or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: THL Credit Senior Loan Fund seeks to provide current income and preservation of capital. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund plans to reach its investment objective primarily through investments in U.S. dollar-denominated senior secured corporate loans and notes (Bank Loans). The Fund expects to invest in Bank Loans whose senior and subordinated debt is rated below investment grade by a nationally recognized rating agency. Under normal circumstances, the Fund will invest at least 80% of its Managed Assets in Bank Loans. The Fund may also invest up to 20% of its Managed Assets in other securities, including high yield securities, notes, bonds, convertible securities, collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), second lien loans and other subordinated loans. The Fund’s investments in high yield securities will be limited to 10% of the Fund’s Managed Assets. The Fund’s investments in below investment grade investments are considered speculative with respect to the issuer's capacity to pay interest and repay principal. These investments are commonly referred to as high yield or junk instruments. The Fund’s allocation among Bank Loans and other securities will depend on market conditions and the market outlook of the Fund’s Subadviser. The Subadviser focuses on balancing current income, and capital preservation through a research-driven and qualitative approach to credit analysis, risk management and investment selection. The Fund may use leverage in an amount up to 33 1/3% of the Fund's Managed Assets. FUND MANAGEMENT: The Fund's investment adviser is Four Wood Capital Advisors, LLC. THL Credit Advisors LLC serves as the Subadviser to the Fund.
