Fund Description: Deutsche X-trackers Municipal Infrastructure Revenue Bond ETF, formerly db X-Trackers Municipal Infrastructure Revenue Bond Fund is an exchange-traded index fund or index ETF which is a separate portfolio of the DBX ETF Trust, an open-end investment management company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Deutsche X-trackers Municipal Infrastructure Revenue Bond ETF seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the DBIQ Municipal Infrastructure Revenue Bond Index. INDEX DESCRIPTION: The DBIQ Municipal Infrastructure Revenue Bond Index is designed to track the returns of the segment of the U.S. long term tax-exempt bond market, consisting of infrastructure revenue bonds. The Index is comprised of tax-exempt municipal securities issued by states, cities, counties, districts, their respective agencies and other tax-exempt issuers. The Index is intended to track bonds that have been issued with the intention of funding federal, state and local infrastructure projects such as water and sewer systems, public power systems, toll roads, bridges, tunnels, and many other public use projects. The Index is designed to only hold those bonds issued by state and local municipalities where the interest and principal repayments are generated from dedicated revenue streams or double-barreled entities. The Index may include private activity bonds, industrial development bonds, special tax bonds and transportation bonds. The Index is substantially comprised of issuers in the water revenue and highway revenue tolls sectors. In addition, a significant percentage of the Index was comprised of New York municipal securities. These components of the Index may change over time. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund, using a passive or indexing investment approach, attempts to approximate the investment performance of the Index. Representative sampling is an indexing strategy that is used which involves investing in a representative sample of securities that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. The securities selected are expected to have, in the aggregate, investment characteristics (based on factors such as market capitalization and industry weightings), fundamental characteristics (such as return variability and yield) and liquidity measures similar to those of the Index. The Fund may or may not hold all of the securities in the Index. Under normal circumstances, the Fund invests at least 80% of net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in securities issued by municipalities across the United States which are classified as municipal infrastructure revenue bonds based on the Index’s criteria as well as in other securities whose income is free from regular federal income tax. Because municipal securities that pay interest subject to the AMT may be included in the Index without limit, the Fund may invest an unlimited amount of its net assets in municipal securities whose income is subject to the AMT. In addition, the Fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets (but typically far more) in instruments that comprise the Index. FUND MANAGEMENT: DBX Advisors LLC.serves as Investment Adviser to the Fund. Deutsche Investment Management Americas Inc. serves as Sub-adviser to the Fund.
