Fund Description: VanEck Vectors Russia ETF, formerly The Market Vectors Russia ETF, is an exchange-traded index fund or Index ETF which is a separate investment portfolio of the VanEck Vectors ETF Trust, an open-end investment management company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The VanEck Vectors Russia ETF seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Market Vectors Russia Index, formerly known as DAXglobal Russia+ Index. INDEX DESCRIPTION: The Market Vectors Russia Index is comprised of securities of Russian companies. A company is considered to be from Russia if it is domiciled and primarily listed on an exchange in Russia or generates at least 50% of its revenues in Russia. In exceptional cases, companies with less than 50% of their revenues derived from Russia may be eligible for inclusion in the Index. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the Index. The Adviser anticipates that, generally, the Fund will hold all of the securities which comprise the Index in proportion to their weightings in the Index. However, under various circumstances, it may not be possible or practicable to purchase all of those securities in these weightings. In these circumstances, the Fund may purchase a sample of securities in the Index. There also may be instances in which the Adviser may choose to overweight another security in the Index, purchase securities not in the Index which the Adviser believes are appropriate to substitute for certain securities in the Index or utilize various combinations of other available investment techniques in seeking to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Index. The Fund may sell securities that are represented in the Index in anticipation of their removal from the Index or purchase securities not represented in the Index in anticipation of their addition to the Index. FUND MANAGEMENT: Van Eck Associates Corporation serves as the investment adviser to the Fund.
