Fund Description: Royce Micro-Cap Trust, Inc. is a closed-end diversified investment company whose investment objective is long-term capital appreciation, which seeks it by investing primarily in equity securities of companies that, at the time of investment, have market capitalizations of $400 million or less. Due to the sector's size and limited research coverage, there is more opportunity to find pricing inefficiencies. Therefore, they believe that the potential for higher returns is greater than for any other sector of the domestic equity marketplace. The trust is qualified as a regulated investment company not subject to income taxes when it distributes substantially all of its taxable income to investors.
