PowerShares Russell Top 200 Pure Value Portfolio
Fund Description: Invesco Russell Top 200 Pure Value ETF, formerly PowerShares Russell Top 200 Pure Value Portfolio, formerly PowerShares Fundamental Pure Large Value Portfolio, is an exchange-traded index fund or Index ETF which is a separate investment portfolio of the Invesco Exchange-Traded Fund Trust, formerly PowerShares Exchange-Traded Fund Trust, an open-end investment management company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: Invesco Russell Top 200 Pure Value ETF seeks investment results that correspond, before fees and expenses, generally to the price and yield of the Russell Top 200 Pure Value Index, formerly the RAFI Fundamental Large Value Index. INDEX DESCRIPTION: The Russell Top 200 Pure Value Index Index is composed of securities selected from the Russell Top 200 Index, which includes the largest 200 securities of the Russell 3000 Index, an index measuring the performance of 95% of the U.S. equity market. Frank Russell Co. (the Index Provider) first identifies securities in the Russell Top 200 Index with lower price-to-book ratios and lower forecasting growth values. The Index’s constituent securities are then assigned a Composite Value Score (CVS), which is calculated based on three characteristics (book to price (a value characteristic), sales per share growth (a growth characteristic) and medium-term growth forecast (a growth characteristic)) to identify whether they are growth or value securities. In general, stocks with higher CVS scores are considered value stocks. The Index then weights securities in proportion to their CVS score, giving greatest weight to the securities demonstrating the most value characteristics. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in common stocks of fundamentally large companies. The Fund considers fundamentally large companies to be those companies that comprise the Index. The Fund will invest at least 90% of its total assets in the component securities that comprise the Index. The use of the word Pure in the Fund's name signifies a particular type of style (i.e., growth or value) investing, where a particular stock is classified as either growth or value, but not both. Whereas traditionally value funds in the marketplace have in practice also included some stocks that would be considered growth stocks in their portfolios, the Fund, in tracking the Index, intends to principally invest exclusively in value stocks. Accordingly, the Fund's pure value portfolio will differ from a traditional value portfolio because the Fund's portfolio will not include growth stocks. The Fund will generally invest in all of the securities comprising its Index in proportion to their weightings in the Index. However, under various circumstances, it may not be possible or practicable to purchase all of those securities in those weightings. In those circumstances, the Fund may purchase a sample of securities in the applicable Index. FUND MANAGEMENT: Invesco Capital Management LLC serves as the investment adviser to the Fund.
Notes: April 24, 2018 -- Invesco announced it is retiring the PowerShares brand as of June 4, 2018. The ETFs currently trading under the PowerShares name will be rebranded as Invesco Funds at https://www.invesco.com/portal/site/us/investors/home/
