Fund Description: VanEck Vectors ChinaAMC CSI 300 ETF, formerly Market Vectors ChinaAMC A-Share ETF, formerly Market Vectors China ETF, is an exchange-traded index fund or Index ETF which is a separate investment portfolio of the VanEck Vectors ETF Trust, an open-ended investment management company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The VanEck Vectors ChinaAMC CSI 300 ETF seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the CSI 300 Index. INDEX DESCRIPTION: The CSI 300 Index is a free-float market capitalization weighted index compiled and managed by China Securities Index Co. Ltd. The CSI 300 is a diversified index consisting of 300 A-share stocks listed on the Shenzen and/or Shanghai Stock Exchanges. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund, utilizing a passive or indexing investment approach, attempts to approximate the investment performance of the Index by investing in a portfolio of securities that generally replicates the Index. The Fund does not invest directly in China A-shares, but intends to gain exposure to the China A-share market by investing in swaps that are linked to the performance of China A-shares. The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the Index and/or in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the securities that comprise the Index. The Fund may also invest in swaps on funds that seek to replicate the performance of the Index or directly in securities of such funds. Assets not invested in swaps and other derivatives will be invested primarily in money market instruments. FUND MANAGEMENT: Van Eck Associates Corporation serves as the adviser to the Fund and subject to the supervision of the Board of Trustees, will be responsible for the day-to-day investment management of the Fund.
