Notes: April 3, 2018 - Pentair plc (NYSE:PNR) (Pentair) today announced its board of directors has approved the previously announced spin-off of its Electrical business. The transaction will result in two independent, publicly traded companies: Pentair plc and nVent Electric plc (nVent). nVent ordinary shares are expected to begin trading on the NYSE on May 1, 2018 under the symbol NVT. The company expects when-issued trading for nVent ordinary shares to begin on April 16, 2018 and continue through April 30, 2018.
