Notes: Monday January 3, 2005--Paul Mueller Co. to Deregister Common Stock From Nasdaq Due to Costs Associated With Being Public In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Springfield, Mo.-based Paul Mueller said its directors unanimously voted to delist the company's stock and suspend its reporting obligations under federal securities laws. The company said tighter scrutiny of publicly traded companies under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act has spurred a substantial increase in expenses required to comply with SEC rules. Paul Mueller said it expects its stock will be traded on the over-the-counter market after delisting from the Nasdaq.
