Fund Description: ClearBridge Large Cap Growth ESG ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund or Actively Managed ETF which is a separate investment portfolio of the Legg Mason ETF Investment Trust, an open-end investment management company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The ClearBridge Large Cap Growth ESG ETF seeks long-term capital appreciation. The Fund is an actively managed ETF and thus, does not seek to replicate the performance of a specific index, but rather uses an active investment strategy to meet its investment objective, however, this actively managed ETF has an index-based benchmark, the Russell 1000 Growth Index. Accordingly, the ETF’s investment subadvisor, has discretion on a daily basis to actively manage the Fund’s portfolio in accordance with the Fund’s investment objective and investment policies. FUND STRATEGY: Under normal circumstances, the Fund seeks to meet its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, if any, in equity securities or other instruments with similar economic characteristics of U.S. companies with large market capitalizations that meet its financial and environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria. Large capitalization companies are those companies with market capitalizations similar to companies in the Russell 1000 Growth Index (the Index). The size of the companies in the Index changes with market conditions and the composition of the Index. FUND MANAGEMENT: Legg Mason Partners Fund Advisor serves as the investment manager to the Fund. ClearBridge Investments, LLC serves as the subadviser to the Fund.
