Fund Description: Cohen & Steers Limited Duration Preferred and Income Fund is an exchange-traded closed-end fund or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Cohen & Steers Limited Duration Preferred and Income Fund seeks high current income. The Fund’s secondary investment objective is capital appreciation. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its Managed Assets in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, including traditional preferred securities; hybrid-preferred securities that have investment and economic characteristics of both preferred stock and debt securities; floating-rate and fixed-to-floating-rate preferred securities; fixed- and floating-rate corporate debt securities; convertible securities; and securities of other open-end, closed-end or exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that invest primarily in preferred and/or debt securities. The Fund seeks to reduce the risk of rising interest rates by maintaining, under normal market conditions, a portfolio duration excluding the effects of leverage, of six years or less. Duration is a mathematical calculation of the average life of a fixed-income or preferred security that serves as a measure of the security’s price risk to changes in interest rates (or yields). Managed Assets are the Fund’s net assets, plus the principal amount of loans from financial institutions or debt securities issued by the Fund, the liquidation preference of preferred shares issued by the Fund, if any, and the proceeds of any reverse repurchase agreements entered into by the Fund. The Fund also will invest 25% or more of its total assets in the financials sector, which is comprised of the banks, diversified financials, real estate (including real estate investment trusts) and insurance industries.
