Fund Description: First Trust US Equity Dividend Select ETF is an exchange-traded index fund or Index ETF which is a separate investment portfolio of the First Trust Exchange-Traded Fund VI, an open-end investment management company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The First Trust US Equity Dividend Select ETF seeks investment results that correspond to the price and yield, before the Fund's fees and expenses, of the Nasdaq Riskalyze US Equity Dividend Select Index. INDEX DESCRIPTION: The Nasdaq Riskalyze US Equity Dividend Select Index is designed to select dividend-paying US securities that are included in the Nasdaq US 500 Large Cap Index (the Base Index). The Base Index is a comprehensive, rules-based index designed to measure stock market performance of large cap US companies. The Index is rebalanced and reconstituted on a quarterly basis. The Index includes securities of all market capitalizations. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets (including investment borrowings) in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Fund, using an indexing investment approach, attempts to replicate the performance of the Index. The Fund will be concentrated in an industry or a group of industries to the extent that the Index is so concentrated.
