Fund Description: Nuveen Credit Strategies Income Fund, formerly the Nuveen Multi-Strategy Income and Growth Fund 2, is an exchange-traded closed-end fund or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. <p> INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Nuveen Credit Strategies Income Fund seeks high current income; and its secondary objective is total return. The Fun'ds primary benchmark is the Barclays Capital U.S. Aggregate Bond. <p> FUND STRATEGY: The Fund invests at least 70% in senior secured and second lien loans, and up to 30% opportunistically over the credit cycle in other types of securities across a company’s capital structure, primarily income-oriented securities such as high yield debt, convertible securities and other forms of corporate debt. The Fund uses leverage. <p> FUND MANAGEMENT: Symphony Asset Management serves as the Investment Manager to the Fund.
