Fund Description: iShares U.S. Financial ETF, formerly iShares Dow Jones U.S. Financial Sector Index Fund, is an exchange-traded index fund or Index ETF which is a separate investment portfolio of the iShares Trust, an open-end investment management company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The iShares U.S. Financial ETF seeks investment results that correspond to the performance of the financial sector of U.S. equity markets as reflected by the Dow Jones U.S. Financial Sector Index. INDEX DESCRIPTION: The Dow Jones U.S. Financials Index is a subset of the Dow Jones U.S. Total Market Index. The Index is capitalization-weighted and includes only companies in the financial industry of the Dow Jones U.S. Total Market Index. The Index includes companies in the following sectors: banks, nonlife insurance, life insurance, real estate and general finance. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund pays out dividends to investors at least annually and may pay them on a more frequent basis. The Fund distributes its net capital gains, if any, to investors annually. FUND MANAGEMENT: BlackRock Fund Advisors (BFA) serve as the investment advisor to the Fund.
