Fund Description: Deutsche X-trackers USD High Yield Corporate Bond ETF is an exchange-traded index fund or index ETF which is a separate portfolio of the DBX ETF Trust, an open-end investment management company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Deutsche X-trackers USD High Yield Corporate Bond ETF seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the Solactive USD High Yield Corporates Total Market Index. INDEX DESCRIPTION: The Solactive USD High Yield Corporates Total Market Index comprised of high yield bond positions are designed to represent a more liquid selection of bonds than the universe of high yield bonds in the United States not included in the Index. The Index included different issuers in the following countries: Australia, Belgium, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jersey Channel Islands, Liberia, Luxembourg, Marshall Islands, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States, which may change over time. The high yield bond positions included in the Index are designed to represent a more liquid selection of bonds than the universe of high yield bonds in the United States not included in the Index. The Index is reconstituted and rebalanced on a monthly basis. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund, using a passive or indexing investment approach, attempts to track the performance of the Index. The Fund uses a representative sampling indexing strategy in seeking to track the Index, meaning it generally will invest in a sample of securities in the Index whose risk, return and other characteristics resemble the risk, return and other characteristics of the Index as a whole. The Fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets (but typically far more) in component securities of the Index. The Fund will concentrate its investments (i.e., hold 25% or more of its total assets) in a particular industry or group of industries to the extent that its Index is concentrated.
