PowerShares S&P MidCap 400 Equal Weight Portfolio
Fund Description: Invesco S&P MidCap 400® Equal Weight ETF, formerly PowerShares S&P MidCap 400 Equal Weight Portfolio, formerly Guggenheim S&P MidCap 400 Equal Weight ETF, formerly Guggenheim Russell Midcap Equal Weight ETF, formerly Rydex Russell Midcap Equal Weight ETF, is an exchange-traded index fund or Index ETF which is a separate investment portfolio of the Invesco Exchange-Traded Fund Trust, formerly PowerShares Exchange-Traded Fund Trust, formerly Rydex ETF Trust, an open-end investment management company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Invesco S&P MidCap 400® Equal Weight ETF seeks to correspond as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, to the price and yield performance of the S&P MidCap 400 Equal Weight Index, formerly Russell MidCap Equal Weight Index. INDEX DESCRIPTION: The S&P MidCap 400 Equal Weight Index is the equal-weight version of the S&P MidCap 400. The Index has the same constituents as the market capitalization weighted S&P MidCap 400, but each company in the S&P MidCap 400 EWI is allocated a fixed weight. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund uses a passive management strategy, known as representative sampling, to track the performance of the Index. Representative sampling refers to an indexing strategy that generally involves investing in a representative sample of securities, including shares of other investment companies, or financial instruments, primarily consisting of American Depositary Receipts and Global Depositary Receipts, that has an investment profile similar to the Index and some, but not all, of the component securities of its Index. Under normal circumstances, the Fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in the equity securities included in the Index. The Advisor expects that, over time, if the Fund has sufficient assets, the correlation between the Fund's performance, before fees and expenses, and that of the Index will be 95% or better. To the extent the Index is concentrated in a particular industry the Fund will necessarily be concentrated in that industry. The Fund is non-diversified and, therefore, may invest a greater percentage of its assets in a particular issuer in comparison to a diversified fund. FUND MANAGEMENT: Invesco Capital Management LLC serves as the investment adviser to the Fund.
