Fund Description: Western Asset Global Corporate Defined Opportunity Fund is an exchange-traded closed-end fund or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a non-diversified, limited term, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Fund's primary investment objective is to provide current income and then to liquidate and distribute substantially all of the Fund's net assets to stockholders on or about December 2, 2024. As a secondary investment objective, the Fund will seek capital appreciation. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its Managed Assets in a portfolio of U.S. and foreign corporate fixed income securities of varying maturities. Under normal market conditions, the Fund will invest at least 40% of its Managed Assets in fixed income securities of foreign issuers organized or having a principal place of business outside the United States. In addition, the Fund may invest up to 35% of its Managed Assets in fixed income securities of below investment grade quality (commonly referred to as "high yield" securities or "junk bonds"). FUND MANAGEMENT: Legg Mason Partners Fund Advisor, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Legg Mason, Inc. (NYSE: LM), is the Fund's investment manager, and provides administrative and management services to the Fund. Western Asset Management Company, an affiliate of the adviser, is the Fund's subadviser and is responsible for the day-to-day portfolio management of the Fund.
