Fund Description: Franklin Liberty U.S. Treasury Bond ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund or Actively Managed ETF which is a separate investment portfolio of the Franklin Templeton ETF Trust, an open-end investment management company. <p> INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Franklin Liberty U.S. Treasury Bond ETF seeks Income. The Fund is an actively managed ETF and thus does not seek to replicate the performance of a specific index. Rather, the investment manager has discretion on a daily basis to actively manage the Fund’s portfolio in accordance with the Fund’s investment objective. </p>FUND STRATEGY: Under normal market conditions, the Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in direct obligations of the U.S. Treasury, including Treasury bonds, bills and notes, and investments that provide exposure to direct obligations of the U.S. Treasury. The Fund may invest in U.S. Treasury securities of any maturity and intends to primarily focus on U.S. Treasury securities with a remaining maturity of between 1-30 years. The Fund may also invest in securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government, its agencies, or instrumentalities, including government sponsored entities and mortgage-backed securities. <p> FUND MANAGEMENT: Franklin Advisers, Inc. serves as the Investment Manager to the Fund.
