Fund Description: Aberdeen Asia-Pacific Income Fund, Inc. was incorporated in 1986 as a closed-end, non-diversified management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to seek current income. The Fund may also achieve incidental capital appreciation. The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective through investment in Australian and Asian debt securities. The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its net assets plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in Asian debt securities, Australian debt securities and New Zealand debt securities.
