Fund Description: WisdomTree U.S. LargeCap Fund , formerly WisdomTree Earnings 500 Fund, is an exchange-traded index fund or Index ETF which is a separate investment portfolio (or Fund) of the WisdomTree Trust, a registered investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that closely correspond to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the WisdomTree U.S. LargeCap Index, formerly WisdomTree Earnings 500 Index. INDEX DESCRIPTION: The WisdomTree U.S. LargeCap Index is a fundamentally weighted index that consists of the 500 largest companies ranked by market capitalization in the WisdomTree U.S. Total Market Index, which is comprised of earnings-generating companies within the large-capitalization segment of the U.S. stock market. Companies in the Index are incorporated, domiciled and listed in the U.S. and have generated positive cumulative earnings over their most recent four fiscal quarters prior to the annual Index screening date. The following sectors are included in the Index: consumer discretionary, consumer staples, energy, financials, health care, industrials, information technology, materials, real estate, communication services, and utilities. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund employs a passive management--or indexing--investment approach designed to track the performance of the WisdomTree Earnings 500 Index. The Fund attempts to invest all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks that make up the Index. Under normal circumstances, at least 95% of the Fund's total assets (exclusive of collateral held from securities lending) will be invested in the component securities of the Index. The Fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in stocks in the index. The Fund generally may invest up to 5% of its total assets in securities not included in the Index, but which the Fund believes will help it track the Index. Under normal circumstances, as long as a Fund invests at least 95% of its total assets in the securities of the Index, it also may invest its other assets in cash and cash equivalents, as well as in shares of other investment companies, futures contracts, options on futures contracts, options, and swaps. The Fund generally uses a Representative Sampling strategy to achieve its investment objective. The Fund may use a Replication strategy or a "Representative Sampling" strategy in seeking to track the performance of the Index. A Fund using a Replication strategy generally will invest in all or substantially all of the securities in the Index in approximately the same proportions as such securities are found in the Index. A Fund using a Representative Sampling strategy generally will invest in a sample of the securities in the Index whose risk, return and other characteristics closely resemble the risk, return and other characteristics of the Index as a whole. FUND MANAGEMENT: WisdomTree Asset Management, Inc. serves as the investment advisor to the Fund. Fund. Mellon Investments Corporation serves as the sub-adviser for the Fund.
