Market Vectors Emerging Markets Aggregate Bond ETF
Fund Description: VanEck Vectors Emerging Markets Aggregate Bond ETF, formerly Market Vectors Emerging Markets Aggregate Bond ETF, formerly Market Vectors LatAm Aggregate Bond Fund, is an exchange-traded index fund or Index ETF which is a separate investment portfolio of the VanEck Vectors ETF Trust, an open-end investment management company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The VanEck Vectors Emerging Markets Aggregate Bond ETF seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Market Vectors EM Aggregate Bond Index, formerly BofA Merrill Lynch Broad Latin America Bond Index. INDEX DESCRIPTION: The Market Vectors EM Aggregate Bond Index is comprised of sovereign bonds and corporate bonds denominated in U.S. dollars, Euros or local currencies of an emerging market country. The Index includes both investment grade and below investment grade rated securities. The Index is comprised of sovereign bonds and corporate bonds denominated in U.S. dollars, Euros or local currencies of an emerging market country. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the Fund’s Index. The Fund, using a passive or indexing investment approach, attempts to approximate the investment performance of the Index. Because of the practical difficulties and expense of purchasing all of the securities in the Index, the Fund does not purchase all of the securities in the Index. Instead, a sampling methodology is utilized in seeking to achieve the Fund’s objective. As such, the Fund may purchase a subset of the bonds in the Index in an effort to hold a portfolio of bonds with generally the same risk and return characteristics of the Index. FUND MANAGEMENT: Van Eck Associates Corporation serves as the adviser to the Fund and subject to the supervision of the Board of Trustees, will be responsible for the day-to-day investment management of the Fund.
Notes: May 1, 2016 -- VanEck today rolled out the unification of its businesses and investment offerings under a single brand: VanEck. As part of this branding initiative, the well-known Market Vectors exchange-traded products have adopted the VanEck name and will now be known as VanEck Vectors ETFs. As a result, CUSIPs, ISINs, and SEDOLs for every VanEck Vectors ETF changed effective May 1, 2016.
