Business: Dynex Capital, Inc. is a real estate investment trust, or REIT, which invests in mortgage loans and securities on a leveraged basis. The Company invests in both Agency and non-Agency securitized mortgage products. The Company also has investments in securitized single-family residential and commercial mortgage loans originated by the Company from 1992 to 1998. The Company finances it investments through a combination of repurchase agreements, securitization financing, and equity capital.
Notes: Jun 06, 2019 -- Dynex Capital, Inc. (NYSE: DX) announced today the Company’s Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend on its common stock for the month of June and that its Board of Directors will implement a one-for-three reverse stock split of the Company’s common shares. The Board declared a common stock dividend, to be paid on a post one-for-three reverse stock split basis of $0.18 per share, payable on July 3, 2019 to holders of record on June 26, 2019.
