PowerShares DB Oil Fund
Fund Description: Invesco DB Agriculture Fund, formerly PowerShares DB Oil Fund is considered by PowerShares as a commodity ETF as it invests in commodity future contracts. It is a separate investment portfolio of the Invesco DB Multi-Sector Commodity Trust, formerly PowerShares DB Multi-Sector Commodity Trust an open-ended investment management company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Invesco DB Agriculture Fund seeks to track changes in the DBIQ Optimum Yield Crude Oil Index Excess Return plus the interest income from the Fund’s holdings of U.S. Treasury securities over the Fund’s expenses. INDEX DESCRIPTION: The DBIQ Optimum Yield Crude Oil Index Excess Return is a rules-based index composed of futures contracts on light sweet crude oil and is intended to reflect the performance of crude oil. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund seeks to track the Index. The results, which consists of the Index plus 3-month U.S. Treasury securities returns, are displayed because the Fund collateralizes futures positions with 3-month U.S. Treasury securities. If the Managing Owner, DB Commodity Services LLC, determines in its commercially reasonable judgment that it has become impracticable or inefficient for any reason for the Fund to gain full or partial exposure to any Index Commodity by investing in a specific futures contract that comprises the Index, such Fund may invest in a futures contract of the Index Commodity other than the contract that comprises the Index or, in the alternative, invest in other futures contracts not based on the Index Commodity if, in the commercially reasonable judgment of the Managing Owner, such futures contracts tend to exhibit trading prices that correlate with a futures contract that comprises the Index. The Shares of the Fund are intended to provide investment results that generally correspond to the changes, positive or negative, in the levels of the Index over time. The value of the Shares of the Fund is expected to fluctuate in relation to changes in the value of its portfolio. The market price of the Shares of the Fund may not be identical to the net asset value per Share, but these two valuations are expected to be very close. FUND MANAGEMENT: Invesco Capital Management LLC serves as the investment adviser to the Fund.
Notes: April 24, 2018 -- Invesco announced it is retiring the PowerShares brand as of June 4, 2018. The ETFs currently trading under the PowerShares name will be rebranded as Invesco Funds at https://www.invesco.com/portal/site/us/investors/home/
