Fund Description: DoubleLine Opportunistic Credit Fund is an exchange-traded closed-end fund or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The DoubleLine Opportunistic Credit Fund seeks high total investment return by providing a high level of current income and the potential for capital appreciation. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing in a portfolio of investments selected for their potential to provide high current income, growth of capital, or both. Under normal circumstances, the Fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets in debt securities, convertible securities, loans and other securities or instruments that provide investment exposure to the credit of an issuer, obligor or counterparty, including through credit default swaps and other derivatives. The Fund normally expects to invest at least 50% of its total assets in mortgage-backed securities of any kind and will normally invest at least 25% of its total assets in privately-issued (commonly known as non-agency) mortgage- and asset-backed securities. The Fund’s investment adviser allocates the Fund’s assets among market sectors, and among investments within those sectors, in an attempt to construct a portfolio providing a high level of current income and the potential for capital appreciation consistent with what the Advisor considers an appropriate level of risk in light of market conditions prevailing at the time. FUND MANAGEMENT: DoubleLine Capital LP serves as the investment adviser of the Fund. Subject to the oversight of the Board of Trustees, the Adviser is responsible for managing, either directly or through others selected by it, the investment activities of the Fund and the Fund’s business affairs.
