Fund Description: Calamos Global Dynamic Income Fund is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Fund's primary investment objective is to generate a high level of current income, with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. FUND STRATEGY: Under normal circumstances, the Fund will invest primarily in a globally diversified portfolio of convertible instruments, common and preferred stocks, and income-producing securities such as investment grade and below investment grade (high yield/high risk) debt securities. The Fund, under normal circumstances, will invest at least 40% of its managed assets in securities of foreign issuers in developed and emerging markets, including debt and equity securities of corporate issuers and debt securities of government issuers. "Managed assets" means the total assets of the Fund (including any assets attributable to any leverage that may be outstanding) minus the sum of accrued liabilities (other than debt representing financial leverage). Below investment grade (high yield/high risk) securities are rated Ba or lower by Moody's Investors Service, Inc. or BB or lower by Standard & Poor's Corporation, or are unrated securities of comparable quality as determined by the Fund's investment adviser. The Fund may not invest in debt securities that are rated lower than C. Below investment grade securities are commonly referred to as "junk bonds" and are considered speculative with respect to the issuer's capacity to pay interest and repay principal. FUND MANAGEMENT: Calamos Advisors LLC is the Fund's investment adviser. Calamos is responsible on a day-to-day basis for investment of the Fund's portfolio in accordance with its investment objective and policies. Calamos makes all investment decisions for the Fund and places purchase and sale orders for the Fund's portfolio securities.
Notes: Moved from the NYSE to the NASDAQ on 7/2/2012.
