Fund Description: The BlackRock Investment Quality Municipal Trust is an exchange-traded closed-end fund (CEF) or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a diversified, closed-end management investment company. <p> INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The BlackRock Investment Quality Municipal Trust seeks to provide high current income that is exempt from regular Federal income tax consistent with the preservation of capital. <p> TRUST STRATEGY: The Trust seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its assets in municipal obligations exempt from federal income taxes (except that the interest may be subject to the federal alternative minimum tax).
