Fund Description: BlackRock California Municipal Income Trust is an exchange-traded closed-end fund (CEF) or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company.<p> INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The BlackRock California Municipal Income Trust seeks to provide current income exempt from regular US federal income and California income taxes. <p> TRUST STRATEGY: The Trust will invest at least 80% of its total assets in municipal bonds that are of investment-grade quality, or determined by the adviser to be of equivalent credit quality at the time of purchase. It may invest up to 20% of its total assets in municipal bonds that are rated, at the time of investment, Ba/BB or B by Moody's Investors Service, Standard & Poor's or Fitch Ratings, or which are unrated but judged to be of comparable quality.
