FUND DESCRIPTION: Van Kampen Pennsylvania Quality Municipal Trust is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Trust's investment objective is to provide a high level of current income exempt from federal and Pennsylvania income taxes and, where possible under local law, local income and personal property taxes, consistent with preservation of capital. The Trust will invest in a portfolio consisting substantially of Pennsylvania municipal obligations rated investment grade at the time of investment, but may invest up to 20% of its assets in unrated securities which are believed to be of comparable quality to those rated investment grade. The Fund's investment advisor is Van Kampen Investment Advisory Corp., now a subsidiary of Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS).

Notes: From the Form N-8F filed with the SEC on 3/20/2006 -- The common shares of Van Kampen Pennsylvania Quality Municipal Trust were converted into common shares of Van Kampen Pennsylvania Value Municipal Income Trust at a ratio of 1.002660 to 1 for common shares. The exchange ratio was calculated by dividing the 12/2/05 NAV of the Target Fund by the 12/2/05 NAV of the Acquiring Fund. The Preferred shares of each Fund had a liquidation preference of $25,000 per share, so the preferred shares of the Target Fund were converted into preferred shares of the Acquiring Fund on a 1-for-1 basis.
