FUND DESCRIPTION: Invesco California Value Municipal Income Trust, formerly the Invesco Van Kampen California Value Municipal Income Trust, formerly the Van Kampen California Value Municipal Income Trust, is an exchange-traded closed-end fund or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Invesco California Value Municipal Income Trust seeks to provides a high level of current income exempt from federal and California income taxes, consistent with preservation of capital. TRUST STRATEGY: The Trust seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in California municipal securities, which include long-term obligations (municipal bonds), short-term municipal notes, participation certificates, municipal leases and tax-exempt commercial paper. The Trust may invest in inverse floating rate securities, such as residual interest bonds (RIBs) or tender option bonds (TOBs) for investment purposes. TRUST MANAGEMENT: Invesco Advisers, Inc. serves as the investment advisor to the Trust.
