FUND DESCRIPTION: Strategic Global Income Fund, Inc. is an exchange-traded closed-end fund or a closed-end ETF which is officially described in its prospectus as a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Fund's investment objective is to seek a high level of current income as a primary objective and capital appreciation as a secondary objective. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund seeks to achieve its objective through investments in US and foreign debt securities. FUND MANAGEMENT: The Fund’s investment advisor and administrator is UBS Global Asset Management (Americas) Inc., an indirect wholly owned asset management subsidiary of UBS AG (NYSE: UBS).

Notes: May 26, 2016 -- Strategic Global Income Fund, Inc. announces final liquidating distribution. Strategic Global Income Fund, Inc. (formerly traded on the NYSE under the symbol "SGL") today announced the payment of a final liquidating distribution to shareholders. Shareholders of record as of May 18, 2016, with shares held in "book entry" form (that is, without physical share certificates) began receiving a final distribution of $9.0767 per share on May 25, 2016; beneficial shareholders holding through broker-dealers should receive their final distribution as a credit to their financial intermediary accounts (for example, a brokerage account) on or about May 26, 2016. Certain other shareholders with "book entry" shares will receive their final liquidating distribution in the form of a check via the mail. Fund shareholders who own share certificates should receive a letter of transmittal (or exchange form) from the Fund's paying agent and are asked to complete the letter (or exchange form) and return it with such share certificates to the paying agent (not the Fund) to receive their payment.
