QUANTUMONLINE.COM SECURITY DESCRIPTION:  UBS AG, Partial Principal Protected Notes due 11/05/2010, linked to value of the S&P 500 Index and issued at $1000 principal amount per Note. The holder will receive no payments prior to maturity and the notes are not callable prior to maturity. At the maturity date of 11/05/2010 the holder will receive a cash payment that may be more than or less than the $1000 principal amount based on the return of the S&P 500 Index (initial value 864.23 as of 3/24/2003). If the Index Return is positive, the holder will receive their $1000 principal amount plus the full Index Return, subject to a maximum return of 110%. If the Index Return is down but down less than 20%, the holder will receive their full $1000 principal amount. If the Index is down more than 20% the holder will lose 1% of their principal for each percentage point that the index is below -20%. The Notes are medium-term notes issued by UBS AG.
