FUND DESCRIPTION: AllianzGI Equity & Convertible Income Fund, formerly AGIC Equity & Convertible Income Fund, formerly Nicholas-Applegate Equity & Convertible Income Fund, is an exchange-traded closed-end fund or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The AllianzGI Equity & Convertible Income Fund seeks to provide total return comprised of capital appreciation, current income and gains. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund pursues its investment objective by investing in a diversified, global portfolio of equity securities and income-producing convertible securities, The Fund's Convertible Component will consist principally of income-producing convertible securities of United States and non-United States issuers, including bonds, debentures, notes, preferred stocks, and other securities or investments that may be converted or exchanged into equity securities of the issuer, as well as synthetic convertible securities. FUND MANAGEMENT: Allianz Global Investors Fund Management LLC serves as the investment manager of the Fund.
