FUND DESCRIPTION: Neuberger Berman California Municipal Fund Inc , formerly Neuberger Berman California Intermediate Municipal Fund Inc., is an exchange-traded closed-end fund or a closed-end ETF which is officially described in its prospectus as a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Fund's investment objective is to provide common stockholders a high level of current income exempt from federal income tax and California personal income tax. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund normally invests substantially all (at least 90%) of its total assets in municipal bonds with remaining maturities of less than 15 years that pay interest that, in the opinion of bond counsel to the issuer, is exempt from federal income tax and California personal income tax. The Fund's policy is to invest, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its total assets in municipal bonds with remaining maturities of less than 15 years. The Fund seeks to maintain a dollar-weighted average duration between three and eight years. Under normal market conditions, the Fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets in municipal bonds that, at the time of investment, are rated in the four highest categories by a nationally recognized statistical rating organization or are unrated but judged to be of comparable quality by the Fund's investment manager. FUND MANAGEMENT: Neuberger Berman Management Inc., a Lehman Brothers Co. (NYSE: LEH), is the Fund's Investment adviser and administrator.
