QUANTUMONLINE.COM SECURITY DESCRIPTION:  Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc., S&P 500 Index Inflation Adjusted MITTS (Market Index Target-Term Securities), linked to the value of the S&P 500 Index, due 9/24/2007, issued at $10 per unit. The MITTS will make no payments before maturity and can not be redeemed prior to their maturity date. At maturity the MITTS will pay a minimum of the $10 principal amount adjusted for inflation from the initial CPI value of 160.3, plus an additional amount based on the increase, if any, in the value of the S&P 500 Index above the benchmark value of 1089.03 (15% above the initial value of the index). The MITTS are senior unsecured debt securities issued by Merrill Lynch & Co. and will rank equally with all other unsecured and unsubordinated debt of Merrill Lynch.
