Notes: April 28, 2004--Great Lakes REIT today announced that it has completed the merger of the company with Transwestern Superior Acquisition, L.L.C., a subsidiary of Aslan Realty Partners II, L.P. As previously announced, in the merger, each issued and outstanding Great Lakes REIT common share of beneficial interest was cancelled and converted automatically into the right to receive $15.65 per share in cash. The transaction was led by Transwestern Investment Company, L.L.C.
