FUND DESCRIPTION: Global High Income Dollar Fund, Inc. is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Fund’s primary investment objective is to achieve a high level of current income. As a secondary objective the Fund seeks capital appreciation, to the extent consistent with it’s primary objective. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund seeks high current income and secondarily, capital appreciation through investments primarily in securities of emerging market debt issuers. FUND MANAGEMENT: The Fund’s investment advisor and administrator is UBS Global Asset Management (Americas) Inc., an indirect wholly owned asset management subsidiary of UBS AG (NYSE: UBS).

Notes: April 19, 2016 -- Global High Income Fund Inc. (formerly traded on the NYSE under the symbol "GHI") today announced the payment of a final liquidating distribution to shareholders. Shareholders of record as of April 11, 2016, with shares held in "book entry" form (that is, without physical share certificates) began receiving a final distribution of $8.6886 per share on April 18, 2016; beneficial shareholders holding through broker-dealers should receive their final distribution as a credit to their financial intermediary accounts (for example, a brokerage account) on or about April 19, 2016. Certain other shareholders with "book entry" shares will receive their final liquidating distribution in the form of a check via the mail. Fund shareholders who own share certificates should receive a letter of transmittal (or exchange form) from the Fund's paying agent and are asked to complete the letter (or exchange form) and return it with such share certificates to the paying agent (not the Fund) to receive their payment.
