FUND DESCRIPTION: Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Global Dividend Income Fund is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to provide a high level of after-tax total return. Such return is expected to consist primarily of tax-advantaged
dividend income and capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the Fund will invest at least 80% of its total managed assets in dividend-paying common and preferred stocks of U.S. and foreign issuers that Eaton Vance believes at the time of investment are eligible to pay dividends that qualify for federal income taxation at rates applicable to long-term capital gains ("tax-advantaged dividends").
