February 15, 2013 -- Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation has called for the redemption of its two outstanding series of preferred stock to occur on March 21, 2013. Registered holders of 4 1/2% Cumulative Preferred Stock (4.50 percent) will receive $107.00 per share, plus accrued and unpaid dividends to the redemption date in the amount of $1.00 per share, for a total redemption price of $108.00 per share. Registered holders of 4.75% Cumulative Preferred Stock (4.75 percent) will receive $106.75 per share, plus accrued and unpaid dividends to the redemption date in the amount of $1.056 per share, for a total redemption price of $107.806 per share. Computershare Trust Company, N.A. will serve as the Redemption Agent and will provide each registered holder with a Letter of Transmittal that includes redemption instructions.
