The merger became effective today._____________ Aug. 11, 2015 -- Shareholders of ANN Inc. will vote Wednesday, August 19, 2015, to approve a proposed Merger between ANN and Avian Acquisition Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Ascena Retail Group, Inc. (ASNA). Pursuant to the terms of the Merger, each share of ANN Common Stock outstanding immediately prior to the consummation of the Merger will be converted into the right to receive 0.68 of a share of ASNA Common Stock, plus $37.34 cash.
