QUANTUMONLINE.COM SECURITY DESCRIPTION:  JPMorgan Chase & Co., Capped Quarterly Obsservation Notes linked to the value of the S&P 500 Index (starting value 1074.14) due 1/21/2009 and issued at $1000 per note. The notes do not pay interest and do not provide for early redemption. At the maturity date of 1/21/2009 the holder will receive the greater of $1100 or $1000 plus an additional amount based on the return of the S&P 500 Index. The additional amount will be based on the sum of the quarterly returns of the S&P 500 Index for the 20 quarterly valuation periods, not to exceed $1000, and subject to a quarterly appreciation cap of 5% but no cap on declines in the Index.
