FUND DESCRIPTION: First American Minnesota Municipal Income Fund II, Inc. is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company whose investment objective is to provide current income that is exempt from both regular federal income tax and regular Minnesota personal income tax. Under normal conditions, the fund will invest at least 80% of its assets in municipal bonds that pay interest that is exempt from regular federal income tax and regular Minnesota personal income tax. All of the fund's municipal bond investments will be investment grade quality at the time of purchase. The fund will invest primarily in municipal bonds with long-term maturities in order to maintain a dollar weighted average maturity of 15 to 30 years. U.S. Bancorp Asset Management Inc., a subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB) is the Fund's investment advisor.
