QUANTUMONLINE.COM SECURITY DESCRIPTION:  Citigroup Funding Inc., 3% Minimum Coupon Principal Protected Equity Linked Notes based on the Russell 2000 Index, due 6/9/2014, and issued at $10 per note. The notes guarantee the return of 100% of the principal at maturity and do not provide for early redemption. At the maturity date of 6/9/2014 the holder will receive a cash payment of $10 plus the last coupon payment. The notes will pay yearly coupon payments at a variable rate of not less than 3% which will depend upon the return of the Russell 2000 Index during each coupon period. If the closing value of the Index on any day during a coupon period exceeds the related starting value by more than 30%, you will receive a coupon amount equal to $0.30 for that coupon period. From page PS-1 of the prospectus: The coupon payments are payable five business days after the end of each coupon period ending on May 28, 2010; May 27, 2011; May 29, 2012; May 29, 2013; and on the maturity date. From page PS-2 of the prospectus: The first coupon period begins at the close of trading on the pricing date and ends at the close of trading on May 21, 2010 and the related coupon payment date is May 28, 2010. The second coupon period begins at the close of trading on May 21, 2010 and ends at the close of trading on May 20, 2011 and the related coupon payment date is May 27, 2011. The third coupon period begins at the close of trading on May 20, 2011 and ends at the close of trading on May 21, 2012 and the related coupon payment date is May 29, 2012. The fourth coupon period begins at the close of trading on May 21, 2012 and ends at the close of trading on May 21, 2013 and the related coupon payment date is May 29, 2013. The last coupon period begins at the close of trading on May 21, 2013 and ends at the close of trading on June 2, 2014 and the related coupon payment date is the maturity date. The coupon payment amount will be based on the percentage change in the closing value of the Russell 2000 Index and will not be less than $0.30 (3% of $10 principal amount per note) per note nor be greater than $3.00 (30% of $10 principal amount per note) per note. The starting value of the index is 481.22 as of 5/21/2009.
