QUANTUMONLINE.COM SECURITY DESCRIPTION:  Citigroup Funding Inc., Index LASERS (Index LeAding Stock Market Return Securities) based on the CBOE Large Cap Over Small Cap Outperformance Strategy, due 1/8/2008, and issued at $10 per Index LASERS. The CBOE Large Cap Over Small Cap Outperformance Strategy tracks the degree to which the S&P 100 Index, a large cap index, outperforms the S&P SmallCap 600 Index, a small cap index. The Index LASERS pay no payments prior to maturity and are not redeemable prior to maturity. At the maturity date of 1/8/2008 the Index LASERS will make a maturity payment based on the value of the CBOE Large Cap Over Small Cap Outperformance Strategy (starting value 100 as of 9/25/2006) at the third business day prior to the maturity date, which may be greater than, equal to or less than the initial $10.00 investment. If the ending value of the Strategy is greater than its starting value, the maturity payment will be equal to $10 times 125% of the Strategy's percentage appreciation. If the ending value of the Strategy is less than its starting value and the index at any time during the term of the notes is less than or equal to 85 (85% of the starting value), the maturity payment will be less than the original $10 investment and equal to $10 times the Strategy return. In all other cases, the maturity payment will be $10.
