QUANTUMONLINE.COM SECURITY DESCRIPTION:  Citigroup Funding Inc., Index LASERS (Index LeAding Stock Market Return Securities) based a basket of three indices, due 2/25/2010, and issued at $10 per Index LASERS. The indice basket includes S&P 500 Index, the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 Index and the Nikkei 225 Stock Average. The Index LASERS pay no payments prior to maturity, are not redeemable prior to maturity, and make no guarantee of the return of principal at maturity. At the maturity date of 2/25/2010 the Index LASERS will make a maturity payment based on the value of the Basket (which was originally set to 100 on the pricing date) during the term of the notes. The maturity payment may be greater than, equal to or less than the initial $10.00 investment. If the ending value of the basket is greater than its starting value, the maturity payment will be equal to $10 times 140% of the index's percentage appreciation. If the ending value of the basket is less than its starting value and the basket at any time during the term of the notes is less than or equal to 75% of the starting value, the maturity payment will be less than the original $10 investment and equal to $10 times the index return. In all other cases, the maturity payment will be $10.
