QUANTUMONLINE.COM SECURITY DESCRIPTION:  Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc., Strategic Return Notes linked to value of the Industrial 15 Index (AMEX: IXD), due 2/2/2012, and issued at $10 per Unit. The holder will receive no payments prior to maturity unless exchanged. At the maturity date of 2/2/2012 the holder will receive a cash payment of $9.90 times the difference in the Industrial 15 Index, starting value 151.47 as of 1/31/2007, less an annual index adjustment factor of 1.5% per year, which can result in a payment of more or less, and possibly significantly less, than the original $10 investment. The Notes are exchangeable for cash at the holder’s option each February from 2008 through 2011 (see page PS-4 of the prospectus for details).
