QUANTUMONLINE.COM SECURITY DESCRIPTION:  Wachovia Corp., ASTROS (ASseT Return Obligation Securities) notes, linked to a global basket of three indices, due 2/02/2010, and issued at $1000 per ASTROS. The notes will receive no payments before maturity and are not redeemable prior to maturity. At maturity the holder will receive a payment based on the percentage change in the basket of three indices less an adjustment factor. The basket of indices include the S&P 500 Index, the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 Index, and Nikkei 225 Index, starting values 1,174.07, 2,956.43 and 11,376.57 respectively as of 1/26/2005. At maturity, if the basket level has increased, the maturity payment will be $1000 times the adjusted basket ending index level minus the starting basket level divided by the starting basket level. The adjustment factor will be 95.12% at the valuation date. If the basket level has decreased, the basket performance amount will be zero and the holder will receive their $1000 principal amount.
